Community Care Worker – Guildford
Location: Guildford and surrounding areas
Pay: £14.62 – £17.48 per hour
Bank Holidays: Up to £30.39 per hour
Mileage: 50p per mile paid
Own car and full driving licence essential
Previous care experience desirable
We are looking for caring, reliable and compassionate Community Care Workers to join a well-established care provider supporting people in their own homes across Guildford and the surrounding areas.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Providing high-quality, person-centred care and support in service users' own homes
Assisting with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting where required
Supporting with medication in line with care plans and training
Preparing meals and assisting with eating and drinking where needed
Supporting service users with daily routines and household tasks
Encouraging independence, choice and community involvement
Providing companionship and emotional support
Following individual care plans and reporting any changes in needs
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date care records
Working closely with families, colleagues and other professionals
Following safeguarding, health & safety and infection-control procedures
Supporting individuals to attend appointments and access the local community where required
About You
Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable
Compassionate, patient and respectful approach
Reliable and committed to providing high-quality care
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence and access to your own car essential
Flexible and willing to work weekends and bank holidays when required
What’s on Offer
