About the role
At TOKii, the Floor Manager is responsible for maintaining the food and beverage operation in conjunction with the Restaurant Manager and management team. As the Floor Manager, your primary responsibility is to manage a floor team to deliver a successful and efficient service whilst upholding TOKii and The Prince Akatoki London service standards and creating an approachable yet elevated atmosphere for in-house guests, external guests and staff. You'll ensure that guests have an enjoyable experience and deliver excellent service from initial greeting, taking orders, making recommendations and paying of the bill.

Key duties... Drive exceptional service standards by developing and refining systems that enhance the experience for members, guests, and staff.
Lead engaging training sessions on TOKii food and drink programs through storytelling, demos, and initiatives.
Collaborate across departments to ensure every guest interaction is seamless, aligned with brand expectations, and delivered with consistency.
Support recruitment efforts by identifying talent needs, participating in interviews, and evaluating candidates alongside HR.
Oversee onboarding and development of new team members, ensuring the floor team is confident, polished, and guest-focused.
Gather and act on guest feedback in partnership with the Front Office team to continuously improve service and offerings.
Train and coach staff on TOKii's and The Prince Akatoki London's core values, roles, and service standards to build a high-performing and knowledgeable team.
Oversee daily operations, ensuring all assigned tasks are completed on time and to the highest standard.
Create efficient staff rotas, manage labour costs, and reduce unnecessary overtime to maintain operational excellence.
Uphold and enforce standards of appearance, compliance, safety, and professionalism across the team.
What we are looking for as Floor Manager... Minimum of 2+ years' experience in similar capacity.
Experience of Forbes or LQA standards.
Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and maintain calm, through quickly and effectively problem solving under pressure.
Must be hospitable, approachable, passionate about customer service and respectful towards colleagues and guests.
Must be able to demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule.
Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Ability to take direction, work in a team environment and autonomously.
