Extinguisher Engineer – London – £30,000–£35,000 + Commission Extinguisher Engineer | London | Permanent We are currently recruiting for an experienced Extinguisher Engineer to join a well-established and growing fire and life safety company covering London & surrounding areas. Due to continued expansion and increased customer demand, our client is looking to add a skilled engineer to their permanent engineering team. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive basic salary, commission, a company vehicle, and ongoing training within fire safety systems. Extinguisher Engineer – Package & Benefits • Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience) • Commission structure (additional earnings) • Overtime available • Company vehicle & fuel card • Travel time paid • Pension scheme • Annual leave entitlement • Ongoing training & development • Permanent, full-time position • Location: London (field-based, multi-site) Extinguisher Engineer – Role & Responsibilities • Servicing, maintenance, and installation of fire extinguishers • Conducting fire extinguisher inspections in line with BS 5306 standards • Identifying faults and carrying out necessary repairs or replacements • Advising clients on fire safety compliance and equipment requirements • Installing and commissioning new fire extinguishers where required • Maintaining accurate service records and documentation • Ensuring all work is completed in line with current fire safety regulations • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers • Supporting the wider engineering team when required Extinguisher Engineer – Skills & Experience Required • Full UK driving licence (essential) • Previous experience as an Extinguisher Engineer or Fire Safety Engineer • Knowledge of BS 5306 standards (essential) • FETA or BAFE qualifications (highly desirable) • Strong understanding of fire extinguisher types and applications • Good communication and customer service skills • Ability to work independently and manage own workload • Willingness to undertake further training and development • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and self-motivation Apply Now If you are an Extinguisher Engineer looking for a secure, long-term role with excellent earning potential and commission opportunities in London, please submit your CV today to be considered.
