Essential Requirement for Quantity Surveyor : Full driving licence
Essential Qualification for Quantity Surveyor: Degree-level education or equivalent relevant experience with chartered status and full membership of RICS (or equivalent) is desirable, with evidence of CPD and commitment to professional development.
The Role for Quantity Surveyor
We are seeking an experienced and commercially aware Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of a wide range of capital projects across the Council’s estate.
The postholder will provide high quality, cost-effective quantity surveying and cost management services across all stages of project delivery, from feasibility through to final account. This includes cost planning, value engineering, procurement support, tendering, contract administration, interim valuations, financial reporting, risk management, negotiation of claims and agreement of final accounts.
