Sealegs / Aftersales Technician - £35,000 – £40,000 – Poole Are you experienced in small vessel or RIB fit out and confident working with marine systems? Do you enjoy hands-on technical work, diagnostics, and delivering high-quality results both in the workshop and on-site? Our client is a specialist marine engineering company, and they are looking for a Sealegs / Aftersales Technician to join their growing team in Poole. The role This is a practical, varied position focused on the build, servicing, and repair of small vessels, particularly Sealegs Amphibious RIBs. You will be responsible for ensuring vessels are safe, fully functional, and prepared to a high standard for use or delivery. You will work both in the workshop and on-site, with regular travel across the UK and occasional overseas trips. Key Responsibilities Fit out small vessels (up to 12m) in line with specifications and technical drawings Install marine components including consoles, seating, fuel systems, steering and outboard engines Carry out basic electrical installation and fault-finding Inspect, strip, and overhaul hulls, tubes, and fittings Service and maintain Sealegs vessels, including aftercare support Conduct pre-delivery inspections and sea trials Commission and test hydraulic systems Maintain accurate service records and produce inspection reports Assist with quotations for repairs and upgrades Promote service solutions and product upgrades where appropriate Follow all workshop safety and quality procedures About our company This organisation is well-established within the marine sector, known for delivering high-quality workmanship and specialist amphibious craft solutions.
