CNC Setter Operator

Job Description: As a key member of our manufacturing operation, you will be responsible for producing high-precision crankshafts, camshafts, and various other engine components for leading super and hyper car manufacturers. The Role: * Set up, operate, and monitor multiple CNC machines ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance. * Read, interpret, and edit CNC programs, identifying and correcting errors in NC code to ensure smooth production flow. * Perform quality control checks using various measurement tools and inspect machinery, tooling, and equipment to maintain product standards. * Manufacture components efficiently and cost-effectively, adhering to company standards and procedures. * Maintain high level of communication with the Team and report operational issues promptly. * Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting enhancements to methods, processes, and tooling. * Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities. * Support the Company’s compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 by following company policy and best practice. Candidate Profile: * Experience as a CNC Setter Operator, preferably within the automotive or aerospace sectors. * Mill Turn experience preferable but not essential * Proven ability to read, interpret, and communicate technical drawings and information. * Competence in using tool setting equipment. * Ability to problem solve effectively and demonstrate a forward-thinking mindset. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
