Logistics Administrator

Job Description:               Logistics Administrator Location:                            Corby Hours:                                 Monday to Friday, (Apply online only) Pay:                                     Dependant on experience I am looking for a Logistics / Warehouse Administrator to support the Transport Manager in ensuring accurate and timely deliveries aligned to customer requirements and production timelines. 3. Main Responsibilities Collect, check and complete despatch paperwork and spreadsheets in readiness for customer deliveries. Ensure final QC checks have been completed. Liaise with customers for delivery bookings and confirm transport requirements. Prepare delivery notes and pass to Site and Stock Controller to ensure goods are loaded ready for despatch. Support Transport Manager in arranging delivery schedules. Scan delivery notes for Invoicing. Keep warehouse ops informed of changes or updated requirements. Ensure all 3rd party drivers, behave accordingly to our safety rules. Take responsibility for keys whilst onsite and loading. Provide all information is shared with Site controller regarding re-work of stock, provide labels for onward shipment. Ensure all production sheets are filled out correctly and accurately. Ensure quality control is maintained throughout the shift. To report any maintenance issues promptly. Participate and ensure a smooth handover between shifts. Ensuring the Warehouse/Yard area is tidy and kept in a professional manner following the highest BRCGS standards. Must follow and comply with all company, Health & Safety, HR and factory policies and procedures. Attend any training provided to you whether individually or collectively. To carry out any other reasonable requests. 4. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Clear and good communicator. Ability to write, speak and understand English. Proactive. Attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft based systems. Highly organised and calm during busy times. Be competent in arranging accurate paperwork for deliveries and the despatch of goods.
