Salary: £35,000 to £37,000 + £8K Tronc
Job Type: Full Time | 48 Hours per Week
The Opportunity
I am currently recruiting for an Events Manager on behalf of a high-quality, Gastro Pub, Hotel and events-led hospitality business based in Hampshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional looking to move into a broader, commercially focused role, combining events, sales, marketing, and business development.
You will play a key role in driving revenue, managing client relationships, and delivering exceptional guest experiences, while gaining valuable exposure to the commercial side of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Manage event enquiries from initial contact through to delivery
Convert enquiries into confirmed business, driving revenue growth
Plan, coordinate, and deliver events to a high standard
Support and develop business development initiatives
Oversee social media channels and marketing activity
Build and maintain strong relationships with guests and corporate clients
Lead events on the day, ensuring smooth and professional execution
Work operationally as a Duty Manager, supporting restaurant and hotel service
Carry out opening and closing procedures, including cash handling
Working Pattern
48 hours per week
Includes 2 office-based days focused on administration, enquiries, and planning
Remaining hours spent operationally, leading service and events
Candidate Profile
Previous experience in hospitality management (restaurant, hotel, or events venue)
Strong interest in events, sales, and business development
Commercially aware xwzovoh with a proactive mindset
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Confident working both operationally and in an administrative capacity
Looking to progress into a multi-functional, business-focused role
Salary & Benefits
£35,000 to £37,000 basic salary DOE
£8,000-£10,000 tronc (on top)
Strong opportunity for career progression
