Spot Welder

The Role We are currently recruiting for a Spot Welder to join a busy and growing manufacturing company based in Atherstone on Stour. This is a full-time ongoing position with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract following a successful temporary period. As a Spot Welder, you’ll be responsible for operating resistance welding equipment to manufacture precision components in line with production and quality standards. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, consistency and quality are key. You’ll work closely with production and quality teams to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to specification. This is a great opportunity to develop within a specialist engineering business. Shift Hours 08:00-17:00 Monday to Thursday 08:00-13:00 Friday Duties Include * Spot welding mild steel components * Reading and working from engineering drawings * Fabricating and assembling metal products * Quality checking completed work * Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Candidate Requirements * Previous Spot welding experience essential * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Good attention to detail * Reliable and punctual attitude * Own transport required due to rural location and limited public transport links What’s On Offer * Training and development opportunities * Opportunity to develop within a specialist engineering business * Early finish every Friday * Temp-to-perm opportunity * Stable, full-time hours * Immediate starts available
