Groundworker

About Five Environmental:

Five Environmental is an established and growing drainage and environmental services contractor based in Belvedere, Kent. We provide a range of specialist drainage solutions to commercial and domestic clients across London and the surrounding areas.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Groundworker to join our team and support our expanding drainage operations.

The Role:

As a Groundworker at Five Environmental, you will be involved in a variety of drainage-related groundwork projects across London and the surrounding areas.

You will work alongside our drainage engineers and operational teams, carrying out excavation, reinstatement and associated groundwork duties to support drainage repairs and installations.

The role will involve working on a variety of commercial and domestic sites, so a flexible approach and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out excavation and groundwork for drainage repairs and installations.

*

Digging trenches and excavations to access damaged or blocked drainage systems.

*

Assisting with the installation and repair of underground drainage pipes.

*

Carrying out backfilling, ground reinstatement and making good surfaces.

*

Working with drainage engineers on excavation and repair projects.

*

Operating relevant tools and machinery safely.

*

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.

*

Following all relevant health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

*

Previous experience working as a Groundworker.

*

Experience within the drainage or utilities industry would be highly advantageous.

*

Knowledge of excavation, trenching and ground reinstatement.

*

Ability to use groundwork tools and equipment safely.

*

Full UK driving licence.

*

Good communication skills and a reliable, hardworking attitude.

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
