Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint a Practice Bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant who wants more than just processing numbers. What You'll Be Doing * Managing your own portfolio of bookkeeping clients * Preparing and submitting VAT returns * Completing bank reconciliations * Processing sales and purchase ledgers * Working across Xero, QuickBooks and Sage * Supporting clients with day-to-day bookkeeping queries * Building strong relationships with business owners and decision-makers * Helping clients stay organised, compliant and informed Why This Role Stands Out * Own your client portfolio * Build genuine client relationships * Join a supportive family-run practice * Varied workload across different industries * Be recognised for your contribution * Opportunity to grow your responsibilities over time * Stable, established and respected local firm What They're Looking For You'll ideally have experience within an accountancy practice environment and be comfortable preparing VAT returns and bookkeeping for multiple clients. Whether you're an experienced Practice Bookkeeper or an Accounts Assistant ready for your next challenge, the most important thing is having the right attitude, strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for helping clients.
