Combining technical expertise with strong leadership skills, you will manage analysis activities, guide and develop team members, engage with key stakeholders, and deliver high-quality insights that support critical decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for data analysis, problem-solving and continuous improvement within a highly technical and operational environment. Your main responsibilities will be to: * Manage a small team providing expert analysis services. * Ensure contracted core deliveries meet agreed milestones. * Resource manage and support, where necessary, the analysis of functional data to determine system performance and reliability. * Provide briefings to our intelligent customer and represent / support them at technical meetings. * Ensure the effective dissemination of high-quality information to appropriate stakeholders. * Ensure the application of recognised best practice in specialist areas. * Provide mentoring and coaching to early career team members and support them in developing specialist skills where applicable. The essential experience you’ll bring to the role will be: * Strong leadership, teamwork and organisational skills. * Minimum five years of system analysis experience. * A commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. * Good understanding of system performance and statistical analysis. * Experience of working with data, in an established team environment, to understand how it can help an organisation make better decisions. * High standards of written, verbal and presentational communication skills. Highly desirable attributes for the role are * A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent experience (ten years’ experience of the operation or maintenance of maritime weapon systems). * Data Analysis methods – modelling, classification, regression, clustering, simulation and prediction * Flexible and adaptable communicator who can tell a great factual story and adapt it to their audience. * A natural curiosity, methodical and prodigious at solving problems.
