Air Conditioning Engineer

Duties Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on refrigeration units and air conditioning systems to ensure peak performance.

Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot issues accurately.

Lead maintenance activities by coordinating schedules, supervising technicians, and ensuring safety protocols are followed during equipment repair or installation.

Conduct construction-related tasks involving refrigeration systems, including system upgrades or new installations in line with project specifications.

Diagnose mechanical problems using mechanical knowledge and technical skills to identify root causes quickly.

Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and system performance logs for accountability and future reference.

Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute large-scale equipment upgrades or system replacements efficiently.

Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in repairing and maintaining refrigeration equipment.

Ability to read and understand schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals related to HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) systems.

Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising or guiding maintenance teams or contractors.

Strong background in equipment repair, troubleshooting complex refrigeration issues swiftly and effectively.

Experience working with air conditioning systems as part of comprehensive HVAC responsibilities.

Knowledge of maintenance best practices for refrigeration units within commercial or industrial settings.

Construction experience related to installing or upgrading refrigeration infrastructure is highly desirable.
