Little Acorns ChildcareAddress: Beacon Church, Oakes Road, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk IP32 6PXSalary: CompetitiveHours: Full Time, 9.00 am - 4.00 pmContract: Permanent, required from January 2027Reference: 0921Little Acorns Childcare are seeking an Early Years Educator to provide high-quality care, learning and development opportunities for children aged 9 months - 5 years old, supporting their individual needs and helping them feel safe, happy and confident in the nursery environment.In this role, you will support children’s learning and development through a range of age-appropriate activities, meeting their individual needs, maintaining good hygiene and personal care routines, and helping to keep the nursery environment clean, safe and tidy.Your responsibilitiesProvide a safe, caring and supportive environment for children.Plan and support activities that promote children’s learning and development.Meet each child’s individual needs and support their wellbeing.Follow appropriate hygiene, toileting, mealtime and personal care routines.Observe and monitor children’s progress and development.Maintain a clean, tidy and safe nursery environment.Work effectively with colleagues and communicate appropriately with parents/carers.Follow nursery policies, safeguarding procedures and health and safety requirements.What you will needRelevant level 2 or above Childcare qualification approved by OFSTED.About usLittle Acorns is a welcoming and nurturing nursery that provides a safe, caring environment where children can learn, grow and develop.
