Technical Business Analyst

Up to £60,000 + benefits

Chippenham (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join a highly operational, technology-driven environment delivering bespoke software solutions within a complex production setting.

You will play a key role in bridging the gap between business operations and development teams, working with real-time data, integrated systems and fast-moving workflows to design and deliver practical, scalable solutions.

This role sits within a collaborative technology function and requires a hands-on individual who is comfortable working close to the detail. You will gain exposure to complex system integrations, high-volume transactional data, and time-critical delivery processes.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong technical BA experience who enjoys working in fast-paced, delivery-focused environments and wants to have a direct impact on business performance.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications
• Work closely with development teams to design and deliver effective system solutions
• Analyse and work with complex datasets, databases and data flows
• Support system enhancements, process improvements and best practice initiatives
• Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, technology and leadership
• Build a deep understanding of end-to-end workflows and system interactions

Skills and Experience

• Experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write and interpret queries
• Experience working with databases, data structures and integrations
• Python or scripting experience (desirable)
• Confident working with senior stakeholders and managing challenges constructively
