Steel Operative

A Steel Operative / Overhead Crane Operator is required for an established steel processing company based in the Burntwood area of the West Midlands, working a permanent 6am-2pm morning shift. You will be operating cranes, banding up processed steel coils on the back end of a slitting line and stacking blanks on the back end of a blanking line, alongside associated duties. Duties of this Steel Operative / Overhead Crane Operator role include; Operating overhead cranes Banding up processed steel coils Stacking processed steel blanks Palletising, wrapping and preparing orders for dispatchYou will be working a permanent morning shift pattern - 6am - 2pm (Monday - Friday)This Steel Operative / Bander role will be working on a temp-to-perm basis with long term opportunities available.
