Role: Service & Installation Engineer

Location: Sandy

Hours: Monday to Friday, 39 hour week 

Salary: £45,000 per annum, depending on experience

OA are working with a client within the food manufacturing industry and are looking to hire for an experienced Service & Installation Engineer.

As Multi-skilled Service Engineer you will be required to cover site installations and service break downs working in the Food Processing sector both in the UK and overseas, so a passport is essential!

Duties of a Service & Installation Engineer:

Install, commission, service and maintain specialist processing equipment across customer sites in the UK and overseas.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults to minimise customer downtime.
Provide professional on-site technical support and build strong customer relationships.
Support equipment refurbishment, repairs, and workshop-based engineering activities when not travelling.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and uphold high standards of quality, safety, and professionalism.
What we would like from you:

Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience within a manufacturing, machinery, maintenance, or installation environment.
Previous experience carrying out equipment installation, commissioning, servicing, or field service engineering activities.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
Engineering apprenticeship, City & Guilds qualification, HNC/HND, or equivalent engineering background desirable.
PLC and HMI knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential as training can be provided.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the UK and overseas as required.
Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional weekends and customer shutdown periods.
