Maintenance Planner πŸ“ Uddingston, Glasgow πŸ’· Β£28,000 – Β£29,500 πŸ•’ Full-Time | Permanent An excellent opportunity has arisen for an organised and proactive Maintenance Planner to join a busy and growing maintenance team based in Uddingston. This role is ideal for someone with experience scheduling engineers, coordinating maintenance works, and managing workloads within a fast-paced operational environment. The Role You will be responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring engineers are effectively scheduled, and helping to deliver a high level of service to customers across a varied property portfolio. Working closely with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, you will play a key role in ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and within agreed timescales. Responsibilities βœ” Scheduling and coordinating engineers' workloads βœ” Managing reactive and planned maintenance jobs βœ” Raising and allocating work orders through internal systems βœ” Liaising with customers, engineers, and subcontractors regarding job progress βœ” Monitoring job completion and ensuring service level agreements are met βœ” Updating maintenance systems and maintaining accurate records βœ” Ordering materials and coordinating supplier deliveries when required βœ” Producing reports and supporting operational performance targets βœ” Assisting with the continuous improvement of planning and scheduling processes About You To be successful in this role, you will have: βœ” Previous experience in a Planner, Scheduler, Coordinator, Helpdesk, or Resource Planning role βœ” Experience working within Facilities Management, Property Maintenance, Housing, Construction, Utilities, or Engineering environments βœ” Strong organisational and time management skills βœ” Excellent communication and customer service abilities βœ” Ability to manage multiple priorities within a busy environment βœ” Good IT skills and experience using scheduling or job management systems Desirable Experience βœ” Scheduling mobile engineers or field-based operatives βœ” Experience within repairs and maintenance environments βœ” Knowledge of compliance or planned maintenance programmes βœ” Experience using CAFM or job management software Package πŸ’· Salary Β£28,000 – Β£29,500 πŸ– Generous Holiday Entitlement πŸ’Ό Pension Scheme πŸ“š Ongoing Training & Development πŸ“ˆ Long-Term Career Progression 🀝 Supportive Team Environment This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation offering stability, development, and the chance to play a key role within a busy operations team.
