Class 1 Tramper Driver – Aldridge Holiday Cover Work | Monday to Friday Tramping | £20.67 per hour + £25 Night Out Allowance We are currently recruiting experienced and professional Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers based locally to provide holiday cover on a dedicated Amazon contract. This is not a permanent full-time position, but when booked, drivers can expect to work a full Monday to Friday tramping shift pattern, covering planned driver holidays and periods of annual leave throughout the year. Pay & Benefits £20.67 per hour £25 overnight allowance for each night out Weekly pay Modern, well-maintained vehicles Dedicated Amazon operation Ongoing holiday cover opportunities throughout the year Immediate starts available for suitable candidates The Role Operating Class 1 vehicles from our Aldridge depot Delivering Amazon freight between major NDCs, fulfilment centres and distribution hubs across the UK Predominantly depot-to-depot work Minimal manual handling Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with all transport legislation Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach at all times What We're Looking For Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence Driver CPC Qualification Card Digital Tachograph Card Good understanding of drivers' hours and working time regulations Reliable and flexible approach to work Previous Class 1 experience preferred Additional Information This role is ideal for drivers looking for quality tramping work without committing to a permanent Monday-to-Friday position. Holiday cover assignments are typically booked in advance and usually consist of a full working week, providing consistent work during each cover period.
