Ecommerce Assistant

ECOMMERCE ASSISTANT £26,000-£27,000 | WOMENSWEAR UK FASHION WHOLESALER | 5 DAYS IN OFFICE We're working with a growing fashion business looking for an Ecommerce Assistant to join their team. This is a genuinely hands-on junior role where you'll get involved in everything from product uploads and website updates to stock data, samples and photoshoots. The Role You'll work closely with the wholesale, inventory and creative teams, helping to make sure products are accurately set up, available online and supported through the content and photography process. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Product & Ecommerce Uploading and launching new products across ecommerce platforms Creating and updating product descriptions, pricing and product imagery Regularly checking the website and removing sold-out or discontinued products Ensuring pack sizes and wholesale pricing are accurate Supporting general product maintenance across the ecommerce platform Samples & Photoshoots Sourcing, packing and sending product samples to studios and external photographers Maintaining accurate trackers for samples sent out and returned Working closely with the production and creative teams to ensure the correct product variants are available for shoots Keeping physical product samples organised and accounted for Data & Administration Maintaining inventory records, SKU lists and master spreadsheets Tracking product availability and upcoming stock dates Keeping the wholesale sales team updated with product availability Supporting bulk data uploads and formatting using CSV files Ensuring all product and inventory information is accurate and up to date What We're Looking For Around 1+ years' experience in ecommerce administration, retail support, inventory or a similar administrative role Previous experience with Shopify would be beneficial Experience using Excel or Google Sheets, including filtering, basic formulas and managing data Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with SKUs, pricing and product information Highly organised, with the ability to manage both physical products and digital information Comfortable learning new systems and software quickly Experience within fashion or wholesale would be advantageous Knowledge of platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce or Magento is helpful but not essential Experience with Canva or Mailchimp would also be beneficial The Person We're looking for someone who is: Positive, hands-on and willing to get stuck in Naturally organised and takes pride in getting the detail right Comfortable working across different teams and supporting wherever needed Proactive and able to see tasks through from start to finish Adaptable and happy to take on a range of responsibilities Keen to learn, develop and build a career in ecommerce A genuine team player who enjoys working in a busy environment This is a junior opportunity with plenty of scope to learn, take on responsibility and develop your ecommerce experience within a growing business.
