Cover Supervisor 📍 Bradford, West Yorkshire 💰 Actual Salary: £22,710 - £24,598 per annum 📄 Permanent | Full-Time (37 hours per week, Term Time Only) 📅 Start Date: September 2026 We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and flexible Cover Supervisor to join a thriving secondary school in Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable classroom experience, particularly those considering a future career in teaching. The successful candidate will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged with their learning and maintaining a positive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver pre-planned lessons and learning activities across a range of subjects. * Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a focused learning environment. * Support students in completing work set by teaching staff. * Record attendance and provide feedback on student progress and behaviour. * Assist with examinations, educational visits and wider school activities where required. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: * GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent. * Experience working with young people in an educational, care, pastoral or customer-facing environment. * Strong communication and classroom management skills. * Excellent organisational skills and the ability to adapt to different classroom settings. * A genuine passion for supporting young people and their educational development.
