I'm hiring for an experienced SFIA Level 5 Delivery Manager to join a live digital delivery programme for a major UK government department. This one needs to move quickly — if you're available on short notice and have solid GDS delivery experience, I want to hear from you today.

Rate: £460pd inside IR35

Location: Leeds — 2 days f2f monthly, with overnight stay

Clearance: BPSS

Engagement: SOW-based contract

Start: ASAP — interviewing this week

The role

You'll own delivery end-to-end through every GDS phase — Discovery, Alpha, Private Beta, Public Beta, and transition to Live — applying whichever Agile/Lean approach fits the context (Scrum, Kanban, XP). You'll build and hold together a motivated, high-performing team, keep the digital delivery plan aligned with the wider project, and clear the obstacles that get in the team's way. You'll also coach, mentor, and contribute into the client's craft communities, sharing best practice and thought leadership. xwzovoh

What you'll need

Proven Delivery Management experience at SFIA Level 5

Strong grip on Agile/Lean frameworks in complex delivery environments

Comfort adapting to different scales of team and product complexity

Public sector/government delivery experience — strongly preferred

Eligible for BPSS clearance
