Service / MOT Tester

An established franchised dealership in Epsom needs a qualified MOT Tester who is equally happy handling routine servicing. You will work in a modern, well-equipped workshop. The team takes compliance and safety seriously and backs its technicians with ongoing training. Key responsibilities * Conducting MOT tests in line with DVSA requirements * Recording test results and vehicle details accurately on the MOT system * Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance to manufacturer standards * Completing health checks and safety inspections * Identifying defects and advising on necessary repairs or extra work * Keeping MOT testing standards and compliance watertight * Supporting the wider workshop and aftersales team when things get busy * Keeping up with technical updates and changes to MOT rules Essential requirements * Currently qualified and eligible MOT Tester * A relevant automotive qualification, ideally NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair * Solid experience servicing and maintaining vehicles * Good working knowledge of DVSA standards * A full UK driving licence * A careful, safety-first approach and strong attention to detail * Reliable, professional and comfortable working alone or as part of a team Benefits * Company pension and bonus scheme * Life assurance * Employee benefits programme * No Saturdays * Ongoing training within a dealer group representing leading manufacturers Experienced Service / MOT Testers: apply with your CV quoting ref (phone number removed)
