We're recruiting an Office Manager for a growing structural engineering consultancy based in Bembridge. You'll work closely with the lead engineer, keep the office running smoothly and provide dependable support to a team delivering projects on the Isle of Wight, across the UK and in Europe.
This is a broad position combining office management, PA support and finance administration. The role will involve finance administration, with the remainder focused on coordinating the office and supporting the people behind a busy pipeline of engineering work.
 
The role:
·Manage day-to-day office administration and help keep information organised.
·Provide PA and administrative support to the lead engineer.
·Coordinate diaries, meetings, correspondence and other business activity.
·Handle routine finance administration and maintain accurate records.
·Help the wider team stay on top of priorities and deadlines.
 
What we're looking for
 
·Experience in office administration, office management or a PA role.
·Confidence handling routine finance administration.
·Strong organisation and attention to detail.
·Clear communication and the ability to deal with a range of people.
·A proactive approach and the flexibility to manage changing priorities in a small, busy team.
Experience in an engineering, construction or other project-led business would be helpful, but is not essential.
You'll have a varied role with genuine responsibility and a close working relationship with the person leading the business. It's an opportunity to help shape how a growing team operates while supporting interesting projects far beyond the Island
