Senior Lawyer- Fitness to Practise

Job Description A regulatory body responsible for overseeing health and care professionals are seeking a Senior Fitness to Practise Lawyer for Case Preparation. This is a brand new role and will be part of the in-house legal services leadership team. /n As the Senior Lawyer for case preparation, you'll lead and develop a team responsible for overseeing fitness to practise cases held by our External Legal Providers (ELPs), substantive order reviews and fraudulent or incorrect entry investigations. Acting as a senior source of legal expertise, you'll provide advice on complex, sensitive and high-risk matters while ensuring cases are progressed efficiently, proportionately and in line with regulatory best practice. /n To be considered, you will be a Solicitor or Barrister, with a current practising certificate and have at least 5 years experience within professional regulation. You should have strong experience advising on complex legal, evidential and procedural issues and have an interest in or previous experience of managing and developing a team. /n On offer is a salary between £65,000-£75,000 (depending on experience). They offer hybrid working with 1-2 days a week in the office (London). /n /n Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide.
