Setting Out Engineer

Bath 📅 Start Date: Wednesday 15th July 💷 Competitive Day Rate (DOE) 🕒 Freelance Contract – Initial 12 month programme with strong potential for extension We're currently looking for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a busy construction project in Bath. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long term freelance contract on a project where Phase 1 is expected to run for approximately 12 months, with further phases likely to follow. The Role You will be responsible for setting out works across a project specialising in drainage and foundations, ensuring all work is carried out accurately and in line with design specifications. Responsibilities * Setting out drainage and foundation works * Checking lines, levels and dimensions * Working closely with the site management team * Reading and interpreting technical drawings * Maintaining accurate records of setting out information * Ensuring works are completed safely and to specification Requirements * Previous experience as a Setting Out Engineer * Strong background in drainage and foundation works * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * CSCS card * Relevant engineering qualification (preferred) * Own setting out equipment is beneficial but not essential – equipment can be provided if required What's on Offer? * Immediate start on Wednesday 15th July * Initial 12 month works for Phase 1 * Strong possibility of further work beyond Phase 1 * Competitive day rate * Opportunity to work with an established contractor on a long term project If you're available and interested, apply today or get in touch for a confidential discussion
