Aspire People are looking for confident, empathetic and motivated Youth Mentors to support children across primary school settings in Manchester and the surrounding areas.

This opportunity may suit candidates with experience in youth work, mentoring, community support or working with children and young people who need additional guidance. It is particularly suited to someone who enjoys helping young people build confidence, make positive choices and develop the skills needed to succeed in an educational environment.

Within a school setting, you will help pupils engage with learning, manage challenges and develop positive relationships with adults and their peers.

The Role:

* Providing individual and small-group mentoring support
* Building positive relationships that encourage trust, engagement and personal development
* Helping pupils develop confidence, resilience and self-esteem
* Supporting children who experience difficulties with behaviour, relationships or emotional regulation
* Encouraging positive decision-making and appropriate responses to challenging situations
