Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor Ringwood Our client is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join their manufacturing operation and lead a busy electro-mechanical assembly team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Production Supervisor to play a key role in driving productivity, quality, safety and continuous improvement while ensuring production targets are achieved. Key Responsibilities: Lead, motivate and develop a team of assembly technicians to deliver production plans and business objectives. Coordinate labour, materials and resources to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery. Monitor performance, identify production issues and implement corrective actions to maintain output and quality standards. Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, standard work and continuous improvement activities. Ensure products are built to specification with accurate documentation and traceability maintained. Promote a strong health and safety culture and maintain high housekeeping standards across the production area. Work closely with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain teams to resolve issues and improve operational performance. Support training, coaching and development of team members. About You: Previous experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar manufacturing leadership role. Experience using MRP/ERP systems within a production environment. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering drawings and BOM structures. Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
