What You Will Do: • Act as a technical authority for protected mobility platforms. • Provide expert advice and engineering support to diagnose issues, analyse failures, and ensure vehicles remain operational. • Travel across mainland Britain to respond to support requests from the Ministry of Defence. • Produce technical reports and analyse faults to improve vehicle reliability and inform engineering enhancements. • Support the maintenance of reference fleet vehicles and contribute to ongoing programmes. • Collaborate with military personnel, maintainers, and users to deliver practical solutions and build strong professional relationships. What You Will Bring: • Proven experience maintaining military vehicles, ideally as a REME Class 1 Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent. • Strong analytical and fault-finding skills, with the ability to produce clear technical reports. • Knowledge of key platforms. • Competence using Microsoft Office tools and a willingness to embrace AI-assisted technologies. • Full UK driving licence and excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with defence stakeholders.
