Chief of Staff to the President

The opportunity

Our client, a leading global business operating across Europe and Asia-Pacific, is looking for an exceptional strategist to join the President as Chief of Staff.

This is a rare opportunity for a consultant, or a former consultant, to move from advising to deciding. You will work side by side with the President at the centre of a complex, multi-country business, with real influence on strategy, performance and the decisions that shape its future.

What you will do

• Partner with the President to shape the business strategy, priorities and annual and multi-year plans
• Lead critical cross-functional and global initiatives on behalf of the President, including large-scale AI and customer transformation programmes
• Bring structure, challenge and insight to strategic decisions and business performance, and ensure that decisions translate into measurable resultsLead the preparation of Board and Executive Committee meetings, and shape key messages for internal and external audiences, including B2B partners and public bodies
• Run the leadership team's governance and operating rhythm, ensuring focus and accountability across regional and functional leaders
• Lead the President's office, including the executive support team

What you bring

• 8+ years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting (for example McKinsey, BCG or Bain), ideally at Project Leader, Engagement Manager or Principal level or above; or a former consultant now in a strategy, corporate development or Chief of Staff role in industry
• Strong financial and commercial judgement; experience in M&A or corporate development is an advantage
• Exposure to operationally complex sectors such as mobility, automotive, travel, transport or industrials is an advantage
• International experience across multiple markets; additional European languages are a plus
• Excellent communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to build trust with senior leaders
• A high level of discretion and integrity
