Welder Fabricator

Welder/Fabricator (Temp to Perm) The Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Newton Aycliffe. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding a range of steel components and assemblies to engineering drawings and customer specifications, ensuring work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities * MIG welding and fabrication of structural steel and bespoke metalwork. * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications. * Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials accurately. * Working independently and as part of a production team to meet deadlines. Requirements * Previous experience as a Welder/Fabricator within a manufacturing or engineering environment. * Strong MIG welding skills (other welding processes advantageous). * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. * Experience working with mild steel and structural steel components. * High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. * Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious. * Relevant welding qualifications are desirable but not essential.
