Contracts Manager Location: Uxbridge / London & Home Counties Salary: £75,000–£85,000 + package Job Type: Permanent About the Role Our client is a growing and ambitious construction contractor delivering a diverse range of projects across London and the Home Counties. They are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to take ownership of multiple projects, working closely with senior management, commercial teams, site teams, clients and subcontractors. The successful candidate will have a strong background in main contracting and be comfortable managing projects from pre-construction through to completion. ASTA Powerproject experience is essential for this position. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple construction projects from pre-construction through to completion Take overall responsibility for programme, delivery and project performance Develop and maintain detailed project programmes using ASTA Powerproject Monitor progress against programme and identify potential delays Manage site teams and provide clear leadership Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and consultants Manage client relationships and project meetings Monitor project costs in conjunction with the commercial team Review project risks and implement mitigation strategies Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and to budget Manage quality and compliance across projects Review and approve construction programmes and methodologies Support procurement and pre-construction activities Manage variations, extensions of time and contractual issues Produce regular project reports for senior management Assist with business development and future opportunities where required About You Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within a UK main contractor Strong experience delivering construction projects from start to finish Must have ASTA Powerproject experience Strong programming and project planning knowledge Experience across new build, refurbishment or Design & Build Strong knowledge of construction contracts Excellent client and subcontractor management skills Strong commercial awareness Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities SMSTS CSCS Relevant construction qualification preferred Full UK driving licence Rewards & Benefits Competitive package Senior position within a growing contractor Long-term progression opportunities Varied project portfolio across London and the Home Counties Opportunity to take a key role within the wider management team To apply, please send your CV or contact us for a confidential discussion
