Our client, a well-established, large-scale manufacturing business in Shipley operating within a global group, is recruiting a Management Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Finance sits at the heart of operational decision-making here, with rigorous reporting standards and a close-knit finance team that values discipline, accuracy and collaborative working. The Opportunity This hands-on finance role has been created to provide real capacity in a busy finance function during a period of change. Working directly alongside the Finance Manager, you'll take ownership of core month-end accounting activities and keep day-to-day financial operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities * Preparing monthly management accounts, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets to tight deadlines * Maintaining the integrity of financial records across OneStream and JD Edwards (JDE) ERP systems * Supporting SOX compliance, internal and external audit requirements * Coordinating with cost accountants and supporting the wider finance team * Monitoring cost-saving initiatives and reporting on progress * Acting as a key day-to-day contact for external reporting requirements throughout the year What We're Looking For * Part-qualified accountant – actively studying CIMA, ACCA or ACA * Experience in a manufacturing or industrial finance environment * Knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS reporting standards * Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, large data sets) * Experience with JDE, SAP or IBS systems is advantageous * Awareness of SOX controls and audit processes * A strong communicator who thrives on deadlines Salary & Benefits * £42,978 per annum * Annual bonus of up to £2,200 * 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) * Flexible working hours – flexible start and finish times * Health cash plan * Life assurance scheme * Study support environment within a global finance team How to Apply Interested in this Management Accountant job in Shipley?
