Firm: Legal 500 Ranked Regional Law Firm

Location: Bury St Edmunds

Pattern: Hybrid Working (2–3 Days in the Office)

PQE: 3+ years PQE


Oculus Legal Group are working with a highly respected, multi-office regional firm looking to expand their Legal 500 ranked Commercial Property team due to continued growth and an influx of high-quality work. The firm has built a strong reputation for delivering commercially focused advice and offers a supportive environment with a high degree of autonomy and trust.


This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Property Solicitor to join a forward-thinking team, handling a varied and engaging caseload while playing a key role in the team’s ongoing expansion.


The Candidate

Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with both clients and colleagues are essential. You will have solid experience in commercial property matters and be confident managing your own caseload with appropriate support.


You will also demonstrate:

  • A strong understanding of commercial property law
  • A proactive and client-focused approach
  • Excellent drafting and organisational skills
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • A desire to contribute to the growth of the team


The Opportunity

The team advises on a wide variety of commercial property matters, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
  • Drafting and negotiating leases, licences and renewals
  • Secured lending and property finance
  • Options, overage and development matters
  • Corporate support on business acquisitions and disposals
  • General landlord and tenant work
  • Property management matters, including dilapidations, rent reviews, assignments and subletting
  • Development site work, new builds and pre-letting matters


You will work with a diverse client base, including national organisations and ambitious local businesses, on complex and high-quality transactions.
