Applicants must have previous Optical Management experience within an Opticians practice.

Zest Optical are working alongside a long-established independent Opticians in Gateshead to recruit an Optical Practice Manager to lead the team and oversee the day-to-day running of the practice.

The practice has been established within the local community since 1980's and continues to build a loyal patient base through high clinical standards and excellent customer experience.

The Role

Independent Opticians with an established reputation in Gateshead5 days per week including a SatPractice open Monday to Saturday9am to 5.30pmClosed Sundays Salary between £28,000 to £35,000 DOE and qualification (Up to 32K if Non Qual)Leading a small, experienced practice teamMix of management, dispensing and patient-focused responsibilitiesOpportunity to influence the continued growth and development of the practiceThe practice offers a wide selection of boutique and designer eyewear sourced from across Europe, alongside premium lens technology and a strong focus on personalised patient care.

As Optical Practice Manager, you will take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of the practice, ensuring excellent service standards, supporting the team and driving commercial performance.

Leading, motivating and developing the practice teamManaging staff rotas and daily workflowDelivering an exceptional patient journeySupporting dispensing and handling more complex patient queriesMonitoring sales performance and identifying growth opportunitiesManaging frame and lens stockSupporting local marketing initiatives and promotionsEnsuring compliance with NHS and industry regulationsRequirements
