Content Manager, Proposition & Campaign MktgBusiness Area: Proposition & Campaign Marketing Location: LondonReporting to: Head of Content Job title: Content ManagerWho we're looking forYou'll be an experienced content marketeer with strong experience in developing and delivering high-quality thought leadership and strategic marketing content within asset management. You will be comfortable operating with project ownership and mandate, helping drive a structured content agenda. You will work closely with investment colleagues, sales colleagues and marketing colleagues to align on priorities, guide messaging, and achieve timely sign-off. You will play a critical role in helping our function achieve effective content planning and delivery.We help institutions, intermediaries and individuals around the world invest money to meet their goals, fulfil their ambitions, and prepare for the future.What doesn't change is our commitment to helping our clients, and society, prosper.We're close to our clients, in the heart of the UK's financial centre and we have everything we need to work flexibly.The teamThe Central Content Team sits within the Proposition & Marketing Campaign Team and works extremely closely with other members of this wider team. We also work with marketing colleagues in Schroders' other global offices; the Media Relations Team; Video Team, events and other functions.The Central Content Team is responsible for the planning, production and distribution of English-language content. We oversee regular publications as well as reactive content (e.g. in response to market events). What you'll doAs Content Manager, you will assist in planning and producing a range of content items to an agreed schedule, across all of the three content categories above.Support the development and maintenance of a long-term, proactive content roadmap, aligned to business priorities and key market themes Produce content yourself, including writing it and/or working with other authors (or colleagues in Video)Assist in creating social assetsMaintain high editorial standards, ensuring consistency in tone, quality, and brand positioning. This will include an ability to translate complex investment topics into clear, differentiated narrativesAssist in the uploading and digital presentation of content,Optimise content for search engines and AI models (SEO/GEO/AEO) to enhance organic visibility and drive traffic to digital platforms.Monitor content performance data to measure the effectiveness of content marketing effortsSupport activation across channels (eg, work with colleagues to ensure text, imagery, charts and social assets are available for translation and localised use)Take a strong interest in financial markets, Schroders' performance and competitors' activities, as well as other newsflow to help increase the relevance of our outputThe knowledge, experience and qualifications you needExperience in content, ideally within asset management or financial services Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex investment topics without losing depth or credibility An understanding of market dynamics, investment strategies and economic themesA broad knowledge of audiences/client types and their likely interests Familiarity with digital content production processesExperience engaging with senior stakeholdersStrong organisational and planning skills The knowledge, experience and qualifications that'll helpExperience delivering within a long-term content programmeKnowledge of major asset classesExperience delivering within a long-term content programmeKnowledge of major asset classesStrong understanding of SEO, with an ability to optimise content for performance across digital platforms.Proficiency in content management systems and marketing automation platformsKnowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance considerationsExperience producing thought leadership for institutional audiencesWhat you'll be likeFriendly, energetic and team orientedComfortable working in a complex organisation where there may be competing. demands on your timeCredible and confident Proactive, structured and solutions-orientedComfortable operating in a deadline-driven environmentCollaborative, but willing to challenge where needed Detail-oriented, with strong editorial judgementAdaptable and comfortable with changeWe recognise potential, whoever you areOur purpose is to provide excellent investment performance to clients through active management.
