Assistant Greenkeeper

We are looking for a Qualified Greenkeeper to join our team.
You will play a key role in maintaining and developing the course, working alongside the existing greenkeeping team to provide members and visitors with excellent playing conditions all year round.
Key Responsibilities
* Daily preperation and presentation.
* mowing and maintenance of greens, tees, approaches, fairways and rough.
* Turf repairs
* Drainage maintenance
* Proper machine maintenance
* Working safely and in accordance with club procedures and relevent legislation.
* Supporting the Head Greenkeeper with all maintenance and projects.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has at least 3 years greenkeeping experience.
* Has SVQ level 2 or 3 in sports turf / Greenkeeping or equivalent.
* Pa1, Pa2 and/or Pa6 sprayimg qualifications
* Has a good understanding of turf care and seasonal maintenance.
* Takes pride in there work and had excellent attention to detail.
* Is reliable, hardworking and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Can safely operate professional grounds maintenance machinery.
* Can work well as part of a team and alone competently and safely.
