Job Description The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Winwick area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 and HGV Class 2 Night Drivers to join the team. \n New Passes Welcome! \n Shifts: Shifts run across Sunday to Friday (occasional Saturday) drivers must be available to work Sundays and Fridays. \n Hours: Between 22:00pm - 23:59pm starts \n Pay Rates: \n \n Class 1: £16.56 per hour PAYE, rising to £17.26 after 12 weeks \n Class 2: £15.56 per hour PAYE, rising to £16.35 after 12 weeks \n \n Location: Winwick, WA2 \n Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate. \n The role: \n \n Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units. \n Handling runs, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork. \n Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck. \n Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner. \n \n Requirements: \n \n Full UK driving licence with either Class 1 (Category C+E) or Class 2 (Category C) entitlement. \n Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. \n No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). \n Full understanding of WTD legislation. \n Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position. \n Excellent communication skills. \n A safety-first mindset. \n \n For more information, please apply directly with a copy of your CV today and a member of our team will be in touch \n \n JBRP1_UKTJ
