About us We have a fantastic opportunity for Highways Electrical Operative to work on our Street Lighting contract across Luton. You will be responsible for providing support for electrical installations, repairs, planned maintenance and new installations. Key responsibilities: Assisting with the installation of signs / columns, bollards and associated equipment 24-hour Emergency Response / Out of Hours Standby Assisting with the installation of any new build works Carry out works as instructed by the Site Supervisor in a safe manner, within the scope if relevant duties Electrical inspection and testing including periodic testing Fault diagnosis and repair Ensure vehicles are maintained to a high standard, with vehicle defect sheet completed correctly About you Essential: Some Highways maintenance experience Comfortable working from height Commutable to Luton depot Desirable: Preferable registration to Highways Electrical Level 3 NVQ SWQR Qualification Safe Isolation / G39 Street Lighting Installations experience MEWP Operator ECS H&S Test First Aid If your past experience doesn't match perfectly with every requirement of the job description, we still encourage you to apply.
