We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CMHT) to work full time hours for our client based in Cardiff, Glamorgan. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract.

Responsibilities

As a Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the UK, your responsibilities are both broad and specialised. You are primarily responsible for providing expert clinical assessments and diagnoses for children and adolescents experiencing complex mental health issues. This involves leading and overseeing the development of comprehensive treatment plans and therapeutic interventions. You are expected to manage and support multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective collaboration between various healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses.

Qualifications and Experience

  • You must have a full GMC licence to practice
  • Relevant previous experience working in this type of position
  • Section 12
  • Approved clinician
