Live New Vacancy HSE Manager Aberdeen, UK | Full-Time Position OFFSHORE FOCUSSED – DECOMMISSIONINGAbout the Role My client are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join our energy sector operations team. This role will focus on achieving HSEQ excellence and compliance with all relevant legislation while fostering a positive culture where safety and environmental responsibility are integral to everyone’s actions.Key Responsibilities – Provide expert HSE advice and guidance to operational teams regarding safety, health, and environmental legislation -Support the development and execution of HSE strategy and improvement initiatives – Lead HSEQ improvement projects, including annual HSE plan development and Emergency Response Programme management – Contribute to company HSE, Quality, and ESG policies development – Conduct site/offshore inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations – Manage Safety Case reviews and updates between asset and onshore teams – Support ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 accreditations – Lead incident investigations and implement preventive measures – Develop and deliver HSEQ training programs and awareness campaigns – Provide HSEQ expertise for tenders and business development activities – Generate and present HSEQ reports to leadership teamsRequired Qualifications * HND or higher in Engineering, Business, Health and Safety, or Environmental discipline (or equivalent industry experience) * NEBOSH General Certificate or Diploma * Valid OGUK Medical, MIST, and BOSIET certifications * Comprehensive knowledge of UK HSE regulatory framework * Understanding of ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001 requirements * Environmental qualification (preferred)Experience & Skills * Proven experience as an HSE Manager within the Energy Industry * Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities * Leadership and mentoring abilities * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills * Experience in change management and promoting positive safety culture * Ability to work effectively at all organisational levels * Strong project management and organisational skillsGet in touch today for a confidential chat!ross.thomson@ablyresources.com
