Job Reference: 1303 Job Title: Technical Supervisor Salary: £65,500 per annum Location: Chestnut, Hertfordshire Job Type: Technical / Engineering Working Hours: Monday Friday, 8am 5pm Job Summary Were looking for an experienced and technically focused Technical Supervisor to join our clients team at a new, state-of-the-art critical environment in Chestnut, Hertfordshire.

The successful candidate will oversee the day technical team, ensuring planned and reactive maintenance activities are completed to a high standard.

Youll play a key role in supporting the operation, monitoring and maintenance of critical infrastructure, including electrical and mechanical systems, HVAC, UPS systems, generators, power distribution and associated control and monitoring systems.

You do not need to be HVAP for this position, although LVAP would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities Oversee and participate in the work carried out by the day technical team.

Ensure planned and reactive maintenance activities are completed to a high standard.

Carry out preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance of infrastructure equipment and systems.

Troubleshoot infrastructure equipment and systems and respond to emergency repairs.

Complete regular site rounds and inspections.

Ensure all work activities are accurately recorded and reported to facility management.

Support maintenance planning and the development and implementation of maintenance procedures.

Assist with commissioning, installation and decommissioning of infrastructure equipment.

Requirements Minimum 5 years' supervisory experience within a data centre and/or critical environment.

Strong technical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Electrical or mechanical building services qualification to a minimum of City & Guilds level.

18th Edition qualification.

Good working knowledge of building services, including UPS, diesel generators, plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration.

LVAP would be beneficial; HVAP is not essential.
