We're supporting a major digital transformation programme and are looking for an experienced GCP Platform Engineer to help design, build and enhance enterprise-scale Google Cloud foundations and landing zones.
What You'll Be Doing Designing and building secure, scalable GCP landing zones
Implementing infrastructure-as-code using Terraform
Developing cloud platform services, guardrails and governance controls
Building and supporting GCP networking, IAM and organisational policy structures
Working closely with architects, security teams and engineering stakeholders
Supporting CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation initiatives
Driving best practice across cloud security, resilience and platform engineering
What We're Looking For Active UK Security Clearance (SC)
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Proven experience building or supporting GCP landing zones / cloud foundations
Excellent Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code expertise
Experience with cloud networking, IAM, security controls and governance frameworks
Knowledge of Kubernetes / GKE environments
Experience operating within enterprise-scale cloud platforms
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Desirable Previous experience within Central Government, Defence xwzovoh or other secure environments
Experience with CI/CD tooling, GitLab or similar
Google Cloud certifications
Contract Details Outside IR35
