About the role
We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen at a prestigious 4-star hotel set within stunning grounds. This is an exceptional opportunity for a quality-driven professional to take charge of a busy operation, delivering outstanding restaurant dining alongside high-volume conference and banqueting for up to 350 guests. Complimentary live-in accommodation is provided as part of the role.

You will have a genuine passion for high standards, consistency, and presentation, supported by proven experience in a similar hotel environment. Leading from the front, you will inspire and develop your brigade to produce exceptional food across all outlets, while ensuring the seamless delivery of large-scale events.
Key responsibilities include driving food quality and consistency across both restaurant and banqueting operations, overseeing conference and event catering for up to 350 covers, and creating innovative, seasonal menus. You will also take full responsibility for managing GP, labour costs, and stock control, while training and developing a strong, motivated kitchen team. Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and food hygiene compliance will be essential.
