Director of Estates ( Multi Academy Trust)

Morson have a fantastic opportunity for a Director of Estates that has worked across Multi Academy Trusts/ Higher Education. You will provide Strategic and operational estates leadership across the Trust, including all buildings, grounds, capital programme and statutory compliance

The Director of Estates is a senior leader responsible for the strategic and operational management of the Trust's entire estate across all Trust schools which includes four secondary and two primary schools. This role is responsible for ensuring buildings and grounds are safe, compliant, well-maintained, and fit to support excellent education.
The postholder will lead the Trust's estates strategy and capital programme, oversee all statutory health, safety, and premises compliance (fire, asbestos, water hygiene, electrical, gas, and structural safety), and manage the estates and capital budgets. xwzovoh The postholder will lead the strategic deployment of capital allocations (including School Condition Allocations and decarbonisation funds), lead the development of a comprehensive Estate Management Plan compliant with School Estate Management Standards (SEMS) and DfE Good Estate Management for Schools (GEMS) guidance, maintain the rolling Capital Investment Masterplan, provide operational oversight of Private Finance Initiative (PFI) contracts, drive estate income generation, and oversee strategic IT infrastructure contracts, while providing expert assurance to the CEO, CFO, and Board on property risk, investment priorities, and environmental sustainability.
