Job summary
As a Barista, you will use your skills to deliver first class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers.
As one of our dedicated Barista, you will be responsible for creating beautifully crafted drinks for our clients. It’s not just for those who visit a premise, but for the people working in them too!
This is a permanent contract working 16 hours per week in our Costa Cafe within the Ulster University Magee Campus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
- Ensure the work and service areas are kept clean and tidy at all times
- Receive and process payments
- Be an enthusiastic team player
- Maintain & restock clean crockery
- Ensure brewing equipment is operating properly & safely, and report any maintenance needs
- To comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
- To comply with Health & Safety regulations
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 6 months experience as Barista
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, client & staff
- Ability to work with a team, and on your own initiative
- Flexible approach to the role
- ‘Can do’ positive attitude
- Willingness to learn
- A good level of English.
- Desirable, but not Essential, Criteria:
- Experience in Customer service (not essential)
- Experience in a similar environment (not essential)
