Although focussed on your project(s), you will be part of the global Bilfinger organisation, which is a 5,000 strong community that offers wider opportunities and the possibility to work internationally if this is your desire.You will:Plan, organise, manage and ensure closure of projectsBe accountable for project safety, programme and budgetsIdentify the overall project execution strategy; develop and own the project execution planBe responsible for coordinating project resourcesCoordinate the project team and third-partiesLead on commercial and change managementUndertake internal BUK and external monitoring, reporting and forecastingHolding the rest of the project team to account for their delivery, motivation and management of teamQualifications & Experience:If you have the following profile, then we want to hear from you:Extensive experience as a Project Manager, in multi-disciplinary projects, in an EPCM / EPC company, ideally gained within the UK Infrastructure sectorExperience developing project programmesGood knowledge of construction activities across all disciplines and how these integrate to ensure successful project deliverySound practical knowledge and experience of varying phases of engineering and construction projects – including: detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioningExperience and good understanding of working with standard forms of contract, in particular NEC3/4Results oriented. You thrive on delivery safely, on-time and within budgetary constraints.You plan and organise your activities efficiently. You understand the dependencies of the activities within the project, but also the dependencies between other disciplines. You have a ‘first time right’ mentalityYou are capable of identifying growth opportunities within the company, offering support to sales, business management and contributing towards the development of company procedures and strategiesYou delegate to your team, but at the same time you know exactly what is going on in your project, and intervene if requiredYou lead and motivate your team ensuring that they achieve the targets, also in case of setbacksPreferred:BSc / BEng / MSc or Equivalent in relevant Engineering disciplineDemonstratable experience working on EC&I and/or Automation projectsChartered or Incorporated EngineerQualification from APM (Association for Project Management)Experience as an Project Manager in the highly regulated process IndustriesWe would like to meet youAre you interested in this position, and do you have this profile?
