Facilities Helpdesk Coordinator Location: Kent Salary: £30,000 About the Role An entry‑level position supporting a busy Facilities Management Helpdesk. Ideal for someone organised, confident on the phone, and keen to build a career in FM. Full training provided. Key Responsibilities Handle reactive maintenance requests via phone, email and client portals Log and update jobs on the system Schedule engineers and subcontractors Arrange site access and communicate attendance Provide job details and required documentation Chase updates and keep clients informed Support PPM scheduling and SLA monitoring Maintain accurate records and assist with general admin Escalate urgent issues to senior staff Skills & Experience Essential: Strong communication skills Confident telephone manner Good organisation and attention to detail Ability to prioritise multiple tasks Basic Microsoft Office skills Professional and reliable Desirable: Office, customer service or Helpdesk experience Exposure to FM, maintenance or property services Experience with CAFM/CRM systems What We’re Looking For Someone who is: Keen to learn Comfortable speaking with clients and contractors Able to follow instructions and ask questions when unsure Happy working in a fast‑paced environment Interested in developing within Facilities Management Development Training provided across FM processes, reactive and planned maintenance, PPMs, SLAs, CAFM systems, commercial procedures and compliance documentation.
