Principal Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services)Our leading global multi-disc consultancy client are looking to add an experienced Electrical Engineer to their major projects team based out of the Solihull office. Duties of the role:Preparation of project specifications, concept and detailed design for new build and refurbishments to projects in the Private, Public and Industrial sectors.Review of sub-contractor designsDevelop and present project design proposals to a client following the external brief and internal discussions so that client requirements are met, acting as either lead internal consultant or as member of a team.Issue in conjunction with the client, contract documentation to tender, adjudicate and recommend appropriate contractor to meet project requirements.When acting as lead Consultant undertake all aspects of project management as defined by the client in his letter of appointment.You must have the following:7 - 10 years building services consultancy experienceDegree qualified in electrical or building services engineeringMust be charteredExperience of mentoring and leading project teamsExperience of taking financial, technical and quality and environmental responsibility for projectsAutoCAD 2D, Amtech, Relux and Microsoft Office suite of productsEnthusiastic and ambitiousExcellent communication skills, including report writing and presentationAbility to lead electrical elements of one large project or a portfolio of smaller projectsIf this position is of interest, please apply below or call Rhys on 07927795526. INDSJ
