CNC Setter/Operator

Pertemps West Bromwich are looking for a CNC Setter/Operator on behalf of our manufacturing client in Wednesbury.

Key Responsibilities Set and operate CNC lathes safely and efficiently.

Manufacture precision parts and components to customer drawings and specifications.

Read, understand and interpret engineering drawings.

Use appropriate measuring equipment to ensure components meet required tolerances.

Carry out in-process quality checks and inspections.

Make machine adjustments where necessary to maintain product quality.

Operate multiple machines where required.

Work closely with the production and quality teams to ensure jobs are completed correctly and on time.

Required Skills & Experience Previous experience in CNC setting and operating is essential.

Previous experience within the manufacturing or precision engineering industry is highly desirable.

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

Confident using measuring and inspection equipment.

Good understanding of quality requirements and working to tight tolerances.

Hours & Pay 39 hours per week and 07:00am
- 16:00pm and 07:00am-12:30pm Fridays.

The pay rate for this position is between £13.50 per hour and £17.00 per hour dependant on experience and skillset. xwzovoh
